Promotion is allowed only with moderator permission (or inside designated threads). A short, honest modmail before posting costs two minutes and functions as a safe-conduct pass; skipping it is the most common avoidable removal.

Title: short, explicit, include the game/name and no clickbait. Use neutral first/third person; keep body concise (short paragraph–few hundred words) and add the original source link. Tone: fan-friendly and civil. What gets upvoted: timely news, informed discussion, high-effort images/memes; removed: low-effort posts, reposts, personal sales, affiliate links, or excessive/unapproved self-promotion.
