What you get

Threads where your buyers are asking

We crawl your site, work out what you sell and who buys it, then scan Reddit for the conversations that match: recommendation requests, alternative hunts, problem posts. Every found thread is shown, with an honest match tier on each.

Community rules on every thread

Each thread carries the subreddit's self-promotion reality: where a helpful reply is welcome, where links get removed, where you should read the room first. The same rules data that powers our free subreddit rules checker.

Sample replies, drafted

For the strongest threads the report includes a drafted reply so you can see the shape of a useful, non-spammy answer. Drafts use a generic founder voice, not yours: voice training happens inside the product, and we don't pretend otherwise.

A share link

The report lives on its own link you can send to a cofounder. Runs expire after a while, and if you sign up you can claim the run: your project starts pre-seeded with the crawl, the brief, and the scored threads.

WHYwhy we give this away

Why this is free

Because the report is the argument. Founders are routinely skeptical that their buyers are on Reddit at all; a report built from your own product, showing real threads from the last weeks, settles that faster than any landing page could. If the threads are there, you will see them. If your category genuinely is not discussed on Reddit, you will see that too, and we would rather you learn it in one minute than in one month of trial.

The report is one run of the same discovery and scoring that Thread Otter runs daily as a product: watching, scoring, drafting in your trained voice, sending from your own account, and tracking conversations to signups.

FAQasked, answered

Questions founders ask

Is it actually free?

Yes. No signup, no credit card, no email required to see the report. It is capped at 3 runs per day per person, because each run does real crawling and scoring work.

Where does the data come from?

Public Reddit threads, found and scored against a brief we build by crawling the site URL you drop in. Nothing is scraped from private communities, and the report only shows what any logged-out visitor could read.

Are the sample replies written in my voice?

No, and we are direct about that. Demo drafts use a generic founder-to-founder preset. Teaching the agent your actual voice takes writing samples and your edits, which happens inside the product, not in a one-minute demo.

Does running a report sign me up for anything?

No. You get a link to your report and that is it. If you later start a trial, you can claim the run so your project starts with the crawl and the scored threads already in place.

What happens after the report?

Whatever you want. Answer the threads yourself by hand, or start a 7-day trial and let Thread Otter watch for new ones daily, draft replies in your trained voice, and track the conversations to signups.
