Dominant post formats: news, showcase, guide
Headline: “Announcing X”, “I built X —” or “[AskJS] Specific question”. Use first-person for projects/experiences. Typical post: short technical blurb (1–4 paragraphs) plus a link to the project/article; in-depth posts may be longer. Tone: technical, pragmatic, evidence-based (benchmarks, tradeoffs, code). Upvotes reward concrete tooling, releases, novel techniques and clear writeups; avoid low-effort ads or vague “check out my thing”.
