Headline: concise craft question or lead with 'Critique:' + genre/wordcount. Use first person for personal posts. Typical length: short posts and questions; excerpts/chapters commonly 500–2k words. Tone: constructive, candid, civil. Upvoted: specific craft questions, formatted critique requests, writing milestones, microfiction challenges. Removed: self-promotion of published work, AI-generated text, banned-topic/‘is this okay’ posts, or poor grammar.
