The rules prohibit promoting your own product here. You can still be genuinely useful in comments (which builds the account standing every other community checks), but any promotional post or link is likely to be removed and can earn a community ban.

Dominant post formats: story, discussion, news
Title must state the entire problem (short, declarative). Write in first person or as a general relatable observation; include a sentence or two of background in the post body. Keep it brief, wry and bemused — everyday, widely relatable British annoyances get upvoted; posts about Reddit, politics, ads, targeted personal dramas, or low-effort content get removed and banned.
Arriving in the local format matters: cross-posting the same text everywhere reads as tourist instantly. The wider method is in the Reddit playbook.
